How to lead a healthy and gracious lifestlye? First we will start of on how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away" is a very common saying. But truly indeed eating more fruits will keep you healthy. Being healthy means byebye! doctors :] Apples, limes, lemons, bananas, pineapples and etc. Fruits have vitamins that keep us healthy. Eat more vegetables. Examples are broccoli, cauliflower, snow peas, spinach etc. Eat meats! But not too much. Too much meat won't do you go. You will only grow wider not taller :] Example are beef, pork, chicken and mutton. Eat seafood. Seafood are tasty and also they have vitamins but again, too much won't do you good :] Examples are prawns, crabs, lobster and etc. Drink more milk, eat more cheese and bread. They can strengthen your bones :] Also, ice-cream, milkshake and soda are also a need in our daily life. We need sugar intake. But these are those -eat-less. Healthy lifestyle also include exercise! Running, swimming, cycling and even roller-blading! Keep yourself healthy :] Now we will move on to the gracious lifestyle. Example of gracious acts are like sharing tips of healthy lifestyle with your friends, giving up your seat to someone who needs it more then you do and also helping out your friends who are in doubt. If everyone were to share and care for others a little bit more, the world would be a better and healthier place for all of us to live in [:

My definations of Justice :] Lols! Ok. What is justice? Justice is the quality of being just; righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness. How do we do justice?
to act or treat justly or fairly.
to appreciate properly: We must see this play again to do it justice.
to acquit in accordance with one's abilities or potentialities
Here are some quotations on justice.
Justice does not come from the outside. It comes from inner peace.
--Barbara Hall
The dead cannot cry out for justice; it is a duty of the living to do so for them.
--Lois McMaster Bujold
Justice delayed, is justice denied.
--William Gladstone
Justice is the constant and perpetual will to allot to every man his due.
--Domitus Ulpian
The sword of justice has no scabbard.
--Antione De Riverral
Reflections
How to uphold justice as a mere student?
We will have the moral courage to speak up when we see something wrong
We will be impartial even when the odd are against me
We will treat everyone equally regardless of their status, race, religion or class.
We will not do things that will hurt others even if it benefits us

Ok. Now what has the lightbulb got to do with truth? Actually have you ever heard of the saying "The truth will come to light one day" A lightbulb is a source of light :]
Truth is the conformity to fact or actuality. As women of integrity, we should not tell lies. But I agree that during some circumstances we do tell lies. And those kind of lies are white lies. To me, I find white lies acceptable. Friends should be honest to each other. For example, your friend's father died in an accident and she doesn't knows that. Would you tell her the truth or lie to her that her father is perfectly fine. Even though the truth may hurts, sometime it is better to tell the truth than let your friend continue living the lie.
Here are some quotations about truth. Enjoy :]
The truth shall make you free.
- - - Bible, John 8:32
Honesty is the rarest wealth anyone can possess, and yet all the honesty in the world ain't lawful tender for a loaf of bread.
- - - Josh Billings
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. Ignorance may deride it. But in the end, there it is.
- - - Winston Churchill
Truth is completely spontaneous. Lies have to be taught.
- - - Richard Buckminster Fuller Jr.
Reflections
How can we be a truthful person?
Firstly we must speak the truth even though it may hurt.
Secondly, we will not tell lies or cheat
Thirdly, we will have the humility to admit our mistakes.

10 steps to building self esteem thus maximizing your potential!
1. Adapt the attitude that you are a responsible and dependable person. Others will respect you and come to you willingly.*
2. Do things for others before they ask you and without waiting for recognition. In other words, do things spontaneously for others because you want to; don't wait until someone says you have to.*
3. Freely contribute your opinions and suggestions with your family. You'll feel better and your family will benefit.*
4. Participate in the decision-making process at work, at home, and at civic clubs. When your actions show people that you make and carry out responsible decisions, they will respect you much more for having done so.*
5. Accept the mistakes you make for what they are: simply human errors. Realize that making mistakes is part of being human. Learn from them and move on.*
6. Focus on the why of your actions rather than on the what. Look at the effort and energy you put into doing something and the reasons behind it rather than looking so much at what you do.*
7. Become an expert at looking for the positive potential in yourself and others. By learning to tune in to yourself and others, you'll become an expert on building closer, more trusting relationships.*
8. Have confidence in your ability to make good judgment. As you start believing in yourself, others will, too. *
9. Develop the habit of expecting positive things to happen. Even when disappointments set in, expect positive things to happen. You'll soon learn that they will.*
10. Look at different ways of seeing a situation. Use your creative abilities and look beyond the first right answer. Self-esteem is having the I-CAN attitude in what you say and do.
Remember:When you maximize your potential, everyone wins. When you don't, we all lose.

![Integrity :]](http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/5291/glitteryourwayd5ad69fffp9.gif)
Before we talk about integrity. Here are some story about integrity. After reading this stories, you might have a better understanding of he meaning Integrity.
Once there was an emperor in the Far East who was growing old and knew it was coming time to choose his successor. Instead of choosing one of his assistants or one of his own children, he decided to do something different.
He called all the young people in the kingdom together one day. He said, "It has come time for me to step down and to choose the next emperor. I have decided to choose one of you." The kids were shocked! But the emperor continued. "I am going to give each one of you a seed today. One seed. It is a very special seed. I want you to go home, plant the seed, water it and come back here one year from today with what you have grown from this one seed. I will then judge the plants that you bring to me, and the one I choose will be the next emperor of the kingdom!"
There was one boy named Ling who was there that day and he, like the others, received a seed. He went home and excitedly told his mother the whole story. She helped him get a pot and some planting soil, and he planted the seed and watered it carefully. Every day he would water it and watch to see if it had grown.
After about three weeks, some of the other youths began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow. Ling kept going home and checking his seed, but nothing ever grew. Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by. Still nothing.
By now others were talking about their plants but Ling didn't have a plant, and he felt like a failure. Six months went by, still nothing in Ling's pot. He just knew he had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. Ling didn't say anything to his friends, however. He just kept waiting for his seed to grow.
A year finally went by and all the youths of the kingdom brought their plants to the emperor for inspection. Ling told his mother that he wasn't going to take an empty pot. But she encouraged him to go, and to take his pot, and to be honest about what happened. Ling felt sick to his stomach, but he knew his mother was right. He took his empty pot to the palace.
When Ling arrived, he was amazed at the variety of plants grown by all the other youths. They were beautiful, in all shapes and sizes. Ling put his empty pot on the floor and many of the other kinds laughed at him. A few felt sorry for him and just said, "Hey nice try."
When the emperor arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted the young people. Ling just tried to hide in the back. "My, what great plants, trees and flowers you have grown," said the emperor. "Today, one of you will be appointed the next emperor!"
All of a sudden, the emperor spotted Ling at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered his guards to bring him to the front. Ling was terrified. "The emperor knows I'm a failure! Maybe he will have me killed!"
When Ling got to the front, the Emperor asked his name. "My name is Ling," he replied. All the kids were laughing and making fun of him. The emperor asked everyone to quiet down. He looked at Ling, and then announced to the crowd, "Behold your new emperor! His name is Ling!" Ling couldn't believe it. Ling couldn't even grow his seed. How could he be the new emperor?
Then the emperor said, "One year ago today, I gave everyone here a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it, and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds which would not grow. All of you, except Ling, have brought me trees and plants and flowers. When you found that the seed would not grown, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Ling was the only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new emperor!"
When George Washington was about six years old, he was made the wealthy master of a hatchet of which, like most little boys, he was extremely fond. He went about chopping everything that came his way. One day, as he wandered about the garden amusing himself by hacking his mother's pea- sticks, he found a beautiful, young English cherry tree, of which his father was most proud. He tried the edge of his hatchet on the trunk of the tree and barked it so that it died. Some time after this, his father discovered what had happened to his favorite tree. He came into the house in great anger, and demanded to know who the mischievous person was who had cut away the bark. Nobody could tell him anything about it. Just then George, with his little hatchet, came into the room. "George," said his father, "do you know who has killed my beautiful little cherry tree yonder in the garden? I would not have taken five guineas for it!" This was a hard question to answer, and for a moment George was staggered by it, but quickly recovering himself he cried: -- "I cannot tell a lie, father, you know I cannot tell a lie! I did cut it with my little hatchet." The anger died out of his father's face, and taking the boy tenderly in his arms, he said: -- "My son, that you should not be afraid to tell the truth is more to me than a thousand trees! yes, though they were blossomed with silver and had leaves of the purest gold!"
What is integrity? Integrity is the steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
Ways of integrity are:
Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right. These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity.
Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching.
It's not what we eat but what we digest that makes us strong; not what we gain but what we save that makes us rich; not what we read but what we remember that makes us learned; and not what we profess but what we practice that gives us integrity.
Integrity is what we do, what we say, and what we say we do
Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.
Integrity is not a conditional word. It doesn't blow in the wind or change with the weather. It is your inner image of yourself, and if you look in there and see a man who won't cheat, then you know he never will.
Our Reflections
As our school misson is "Women of Integrity" the more we should uphold integrity. What can we do to be women of integrity. We will be responsible for our own actions. We will do the right stuff even whe no one is looking. We wil not steal or take things which are not mine. I will attend school regularly and punctually and not play truant.

You may be thinking why this stupid rojo balloon represents freedom. Actually the saying "A picture speaks a thousand words" is defitnely true! A balloon can actually people's freedom. A balloon can either fly freely or be grasp tightly in someone's hand. Teenagers nowaday love freedom. There are pros and cons in having freedom. Freedom is the right to live as we wish. It is true that different people have different perspective of life. But have you ever think of one day if your parents totally se you free. You can party all night long, stay away from 8 o'clock to 3 in the morning? The pros of freedom is that you get to do what you want whenever you want and no supervision of adults. Thats the wish of many teenagers. But think of having too much freedom. If your mother allow you to go out wth your friends to go swimming or playing. What if you met with a mishap? Who will be there to save you? What if you got kidnapped or whatever? Who will be there to save you. But again having no freedom is not a good idea at all. Having no freedom. It disallows you from interacting with your friends thus causing a smaller social circle and mayb later in life, you become a social reject. You are not used to the real world. But at least you are safe wth your parents.
Different people have different persective of both freedom and love. Here's a personal experience I would like to share with you guys:
My childhood bestfriend 'X' (sorry, name not disclosed to protect privacy)had always enjoy freedom. She love going out without her parent's supervision. One day she went roller-blading with her friends despite the fact that her mother told her not to as she might met with an accident. She did not listen and continue going out with her friends. She was roller-blading at the track near the main road and the 3 girls were having fun. They were pushing each other and they accidentally pushed "X" into the main road. "X" got hit by a car. She died on the spot.
After reading this story, your view of freedom might change. Actually this unfortunate accident can be prevented if an adult was present.
Here are some famous quotes :]
Freedom is the last, best hope of earth.
Abraham Lincoln
Freedom is the right to live as we wish.
Epictetus

"Love is patient, love is kind.It does not envy, it does not boast,it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails."
Bible~I Corinthians 13:4-8
Above is a passage taken from the bible. Love is something very innocent, something very simple. Everyone needs love. Love is something everyone will experience.
There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;no disease that enough love will not heal; no door that enough love will not open; no gulf that enough love will not bridge; no wall that enough love will not throw down; no sin that enough love will not redeem...It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble;how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the mistake.A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.If only you could love enough you would bethe happiest and most powerful being in the world...Emmet Fox
