What is god-fearing? God-fearing is not being afraid of God as it God was a lion or a tiger. God-fearing simply means to be deeply respectful or fearful of God. God-fearing is actually to hold him in he highest position and to worship him. God loves us and He doesn't want us to be afraid of him. And if you've lived right, you have nothing to fear. The 'fear' is synonymous with 'respect', 'reverence', 'piety', 'awe toward a supreme power', etc.
REFLECTIONSWhat can we do to be god-fearing? How can we become god-fearing? Our thoughts:
